MINNEAPOLIS — The University of Minnesota Student Association will propose an official resolution next month in support of a free zone on the Central Corridor light-rail line currently set to launch service in 2014, according to the Minnesota Daily.

The university and Metro Transit, which will operate the service, currently have a U-Pass program in place, with the agency also offering free rides for students on its Hiawatha Line to the airport. For the full story, click here.
