ERIE, Pa. — For the Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority, partnerships with area colleges and organizations have proved key to increased ridership. The transit system, which projects serving 3.6 million riders in 2012 — a 32% increase, also credits restructured routes, improved customer service among other changes, reported the Erie Times-News.
