BOSTON — Gov. Deval Patrick asked five board members for both the Massachusetts Department of Transportation and the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) to reapply for spots on a newly reconstituted seven-member board, raising the possibility of a shakeup, WWLP.com reported.
