BOSTON — The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority's (MARTA) top two transit officials have emerged as finalists for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) GM job, according to Transportation Secretary Richard Davey. The finalists are Beverly Scott, CEO/GM of MARTA, and Dwight Ferrell, deputy GM/COO of the agency.

A meeting for the full board to interview the candidates publicly is expected for Monday, Sept. 24, and it is thought that the board will vote the same day on an appointment, according to a BostonInno.com report. For the full story, click here.
