DANVILLE, Ill. — With Danville Mass Transit paratransit ridership tripling in the last 10 years, agency officials are set to propose a fare increase, according to The News-Gazette.

The proposal would increase the cost per ride from $1.60 to $2, which would increase the price of a five-ride ticket from $8 to $10. The proposal could be made to the city council for consideration in March, with the fare changes possibly starting as early as May. For the full story, click here.
