REDDING, Calif. — Senior citizens and disabled people living on the outskirts of the Redding area now have access to a bus service to Redding after Shasta Senior Nutrition Programs debuted its new “44 Express” route, The Record Searchlight reported.

A program spokesperson told the paper that the idea for the new service came from town residents, who said better transportation is needed for their area since the Redding Area Bus Authority doesn’t make trips there. For the full story, click here.
