LAFAYETTE, Ind. — The federal government's automatic spending cuts are starting to squeeze some Indiana programs for senior citizens, including a van service that ferries seniors around the Lafayette area, according to a TribTown.com report.

The service will go idle Friday in the wake of the program losing $24,000 through Title III of the Older Americans Act, which accounted for 18% of the service's $129,000 operating budget. For the full story, click here.
