CLEVELAND — With ridership continuing to rapidly grow, the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) plans to make changes next year to its special transportation services for disabled riders that could include a fare increase and additional restrictions on eligibility, reported the Plain Dealer.

RTA GM Joe Calabrese told the Plain Dealer that paratransit services are causing a financial strain on the agency and that tough decisions must be made. The plan also includes more training for riders who are able to use the RTA’s fixed-route services. For the full story, click here.
