CHICAGO — The Amalgamated Transit Union has filed work-rule complaints and promise lawsuits later this week on behalf of Chicago Transit Authority bus drivers and rail operators. The move will prolong service cuts and layoffs that put 1,059 transit employees out of work and without health care benefits on Feb. 7, according to the Chicago Tribune.
