CHICAGO — Following in the footsteps of agencies such as the New York MTA, Chicago Transit Authority President Richard Rodriguez announced on Wednesday that the agency will put out to bid naming rights for rail lines and stations, bus routes, retail concessions, special events, and even the CTA logo, Chicago Tribune reports.

 

The agency recently wrapped up a $3.9 million deal with Apple Inc. to refurbish the North/Clybourn Red Line stop, partly in exchange for a future naming rights contract for the station. For the full story, click here.
