MV Transportation Inc. was selected by the City of Palo Alto, Calif., as the new service provider of its Crosstown Shuttle beginning Feb. 28, 2011.

The contract includes the implementation of MV Technology's proprietary software, TimePoint, which will allow commuters to track the shuttle in real time from a dedicated website.

Under the terms of this three-year contract, Palo Alto will save about $15,000 and increase the overall number of annual trips.
