SEATTLE — Following the first commute of a nine-day SR 99 closure, the expected traffic nightmare did not take place thanks in part to public transportation, according to Q13 Fox.
Commuters have left their cars in the driveway and hopped on the bus, the King County Water Taxi and even bicycles. King County Metro reported more riders than usual on both buses and water taxis. For the full story, click here.
