WINNIPEG, Manitoba — A Winnipeg Transit driver is facing an assault charge after a woman complained she had been pushed and beaten by the driver on a Saturday morning route, according to a Winnipeg Free Press report.

Police said after cautioning the woman for putting her feet up on a seat and for falling asleep, a physical altercation ensued when it is alleged the driver tried to remove her from the bus. For the full story, click here.
