SEATTLE — Pierce Transit is looking into cutting in half or eliminating bus service in the most populous county it serves, due to falling sales tax projections and previous reductions in service prompting a drop in ridership, a Seattle Weekly blogger reported.
However, if approved, a measure slated for November's general election, which will increase sales tax by three-tenths of a percent in the Pierce Transit district may help the struggling transit agency. For the full story, click here.
