Calif.’s SamTrans falls behind on real-time info

SAN FRANCISCO — Despite having worked on providing a real-time bus information system for years, SamTrans has not been able to offer the service for bus riders yet, according to SFGate.

Unlike many other San Francisco Bay Area transit agencies, SamTrans hasn't made the information available on 511, the regional transit information service that riders can access on 511.org or by dialing 5-1-1.
