EUGENE, Ore. — Following an article on The Daily website last week, some residents took to Lane Transit District’s (LTD) Facebook page and other media outlets to air their concerns about the ability of buses to record conversations of passengers, according to The Register-Guard.

An LTD spokesperson said the agency’s buses have been equipped with audio monitoring devices for about a decade and has had video cameras on buses even longer. For the full story, click here.
