OMAHA, Neb. — Metro officials met to discuss an ongoing study of Omaha’s mass transit system, with the goal of spurring growth in the eastern portion of the city. Two options include a light-rail system connecting the University of Nebraska Medical Center to downtown, and a rapid transit bus system, reported the Omaha World-Herald.
