BOSTON — Touted as a "wearable Charlie card," a new 3-D printed ring allows users via an embedded RFID tag to pay for Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority's rail and bus fares without having to use their smart card.

The Sesame Ring, designed by two MIT students, is currently part of a Kickstarter campaign, according to bostonmagazine.com.
