HELSINKI — Treehugger reported that the Helsinki Regional Transport Authority (HSL) launched Kutsuplus, a new personalized bus service that gives riders flexibility at a price that’s more affordable than taxi services.

Through an app, the service lets users register and set up a trip 'wallet,' then choose pick up and destination spots based on city addresses or pre-existing stops. An algorithm finds the most direct route for passengers' requested rides and groups together passengers headed in the same direction. For the full story, click here.
