The bus will be fueled daily at a state-of-the-art hydrogen fueling station, the first of its kind in Texas. The facility allows for the on site generation, compression, storage and dispensing of hydrogen.
Vince Harris will be responsible for the SFMTA’s $3 billion Capital Improvement Program, including new light rail extensions, facility upgrades and enhancements and system overhead wire and rail replacement projects, reporting directly to Director of Transportation Edward D. Reiskin.
The Ohio Department of Transportation’s new Ohio Transit Preservation Partnership Program will enable the agency to buy five of these vehicles, which have advanced thermal cooling systems that provide a cost savings of $2,000 a year in fuel savings and improved operational performance per bus.

The demonstration project will introduce the San Joaquin RTD’s first fully electric buses into service, reducing energy consumption, waste and pollution in California’s Central Valley, an area of strategic importance to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
