Zurich, Switzerland, a world class transit metropolis, features a commuter bus and rail system, as well as a 15-line tram system. The city has been able to allow for more car-free streets and relieve traffic congestion through various policies and pracitices, such as keeping the number of parking spaces at fixed levels and monitoring the number of cars entering its limits.

BYU limiting parking, offering free shuttle service

BYU has been working with The Ryde, a private company that uses natural gas for its buses. Currently, the shuttle is a paid service. When the system is expanded next fall, the service will be free to student riders with university identification.
