In addition to adding 30 new CNG buses built by Gillig, the agency is developing a 3.3-mile streetcar line to complement its existing light rail services.
Calif. company is planning to shift its entire fleet, 180 vehicles in all, to CNG in the coming years. An initial 60 Ford E-350 and E-450 CNG-powered paratransit buses will access fuel at the new station.
Because Destinations Mobility is part of a nonprofit, the staff can sell used and new vans from $7,500 to $50,000, depending on the model, modifications and mileage.
