For the first year, the Airport Ground Transportation Association (AGTA) is officially holding its annual fall meeting in conjunction with the BusCon trade show. Sandy Mundy, administrator for AGTA, said the joint conferences will provide great opportunities for both suppliers and operators. “We are a relatively small association and, as such, sometimes we can not attract the vehicle manufacturers,” she said. AGTA’s meeting usually attracts about 125 people and has been held during the same time as BusCon in the past, though unofficially. Both AGTA’s meeting and BusCon will be held September 9 to 12 in Cleveland. For more on BusCon go to www.bobitexpos.com.
