Atlantic Express Transportation Group will continue to provide paratransit and feeder bus services for MTA New York City Transit. The MTA approved a five-year, $190.5 million contract for Atlantic Express to operate door-to-door Access-A-Ride ADA paratransit services. Atlantic Express has operated contract paratransit services in New York City since 1990. The MTA also approved a five-year, $4.2 million contract for Atlantic Express to operate the Hudson RailLink Feeder Bus Service, which transports 1,200 passengers daily. The two new contracts become effective in January 2002.
