Yellow Transportation, part of the Connex group, today began operating a downtown circulator service in Baltimore. The Downtown Area Shuttle (DASH) is sponsored by the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore and is funded primarily with $2.4 million from the Maryland DOT. DASH will provide downtown employees with lower-cost parking options close to their workplace. Between 1,200 and 1,400 parking spaces will be available. New 25-passenger, low floor buses will run every five minutes during rush hour, connecting parking lots to a downtown core loop.
