Cummins Westport Inc., a joint venture of Cummins Inc. and Westport Innovations Inc., received an order for 75 low-emission natural gas engines for transit buses for Fort Worth Transportation Authority of Fort Worth, Texas. The new buses, 30-foot and 35-foot New Flyers with 8.3-liter C Gas Plus engines installed, will be used to retire older diesel fuel buses.
