Bombardier Transportation has received an order worth $102 million to manufacture 60 low-floor LF2000 trams for the city of Frankfurt/Main, Germany. The contract, which carries an option for eleven additional vehicles, is the first one awarded to Bombardier Transportation by the Transport Authority of Frankfurt. The new trams, with a capacity for 179 passengers, are scheduled for delivery between spring 2004 and 2007.
