First Transit acquires DynTek division

First Transit Inc. acquired the transportation management division of DynTek Inc., a California-based firm specializing in IT services for state and local government agencies. Through the acquisition, First Transit will assume responsibility for Medicaid and paratransit call center contracts with the states of Connecticut and Illinois and Arlington County, Va. Included in the acquisition is exclusive license for software packages that support call-taking and transportation brokerage operations in the non-emergency medical transportation services sector.
