Thomas Dennis Co., a transit and shuttle bus manufacturer in Greensboro, N.C., changed its name to DaimlerChrysler Commercial Buses North Carolina. Company officials said the new name completes the separation with joint-venture founders Thomas Built Buses and Mayflower Corp.'s Dennis Company. Later this month, the newly named company will introduce a 29-foot version of its SLF 200 model. It also manufactures the CL 100 shuttle bus at its plant in Greensboro.
