First Transit Inc. has completed the acquisition of the transit division of Contract Transportation Service Inc., adding four operating contracts to First Transit's portfolio.

As part of the deal, First Transit has acquired an airport shuttle contract at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport as well as the Bearcat Shuttle at the University of Cincinnati. The deal also includes two corporate shuttle contracts in the Detroit area.

All in all, more than 120 new employees have been welcomed to First Transit under the move.

"[The deal] brings with it great people who work in new markets on which we will be focusing in the future," said Rich Clair, president of First Transit.
