Two men were wounded early Tuesday in a shooting at an Orange County Transit Authority bus stop, according to the Orange County Register.

Police reported that an 18-year-old man was seriously hurt when shot in the head as he stood near a bus bench shortly after 5 a.m. Another bullet hit a 21-year-old man in the neck.

Though the two victims had been standing at the bus stop, transit buses don’t run at that hour.

Investigators said the shootings may have been the result from a previous encounter between the assailants and the victims earlier in the morning.
