North American Bus Industries Inc. (NABI) has been awarded a $4.2 million contract with the Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners for the purchase of six 60-foot low-floor CNG buses (Model 60-BRT).

An option for six additional 60-BRTs was also approved, representing an additional $4.2 million purchase, which can be exercised in fiscal year 2006.

These new buses, with a capacity of up to 140 passengers and carry-on baggage, will be in service at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) for transporting passengers among terminals and remote boarding gates.
