Greyhound Lines will discontinue bus service to 22 Indiana cities next month as part of its efforts to downsize. Bloomington, Columbus, Huntington and Muncie are among the cities being dropped by Greyhound, effective June 20, reported the Associated Press. For one of the routes being cut, which passes through Bloomington on its way to Louisville, Ky., Greyhound receives a 50% subsidy to operate. "We hate to see the service ended, but from their end, they see it as not profitable even with the subsidy," James English, program manager for the Indiana Department of Transportation, told the news service.
