Laidlaw Transit Services began a new contract to continue providing the BurLink modified fixed-route services for Burlington County, N.J. Laidlaw has provided operations and management for this 12-vehicle service since 2000. As part of the new contract, changes were made to increase passenger access to a connecting rail line, reduce the length of trips and eliminate low ridership times on some routes. In addition, all BurLink vehicles were equipped with the DriveCam driving behavior modification system. Over the last six years of the partnership, the vehicles have transitioned from contractor-owned to County-owned.
