The Black Hawk Transportation Authority Board of Directors awarded a $650,000 contract to MV Transportation Inc. to operate the Black Hawk and Central City Tramway Shuttle Bus Services.
The transit services provider will manage and operate the city’s fixed-route circulator, and install Drive-Cam video surveillance equipment on all county-owned vehicles to monitor safety and driver performance, and LCD screens to allow dispatchers to monitor on-time performance in real time.
The contract is set to last one year, with two one-year options.
