SAN FRANCISCO — A proposal to triple the cost of riding San Francisco's historic streetcars to $6 has drawn the opposition of community groups as well as city supervisors, SFGate reported.

The plan is just one of several revenue-raising proposals the San Francisco MTA is considering in its budget, but none of the other suggestions has drawn nearly the same amount of attention, according to the report. For the full story, click here.
