AUSTIN, Texas — To make using public transportation simpler, Austin City Hall unveiled TransitScreen — a TV screen system that will be located in the lobby and outdoor courtyard at City Hall, which will provide real-time data on what public transportation options are available — KXAN reports.

The addition of the system came after a survey of City Hall employees found that they weren’t using public transportation because they didn’t want to take the time to go and hunt down what was available. Austin hopes to install the system in the lobby of commercial and residential buildings as well. For the full story, click here.
