The Xerox Transit Matrix Solution is a computer-aided dispatch and automatic vehicle location (CAD/AVL) system focused on improving the operator experience and delivering information to operations, management and the public. The solution provides current information, such as vehicle location, messaging and camera feeds, to help the agency make timely, informed decisions, and ultimately, improve the quality of service to riders.

The Transit Matrix Vehicle Processor is a ruggedized, open platform designed specifically for the public transit industry. It allows for interconnectivity of onboard systems with faster processing speeds to provide agencies with better communications and performance. It includes abundant storage for future expandability and operates on Windows for system integration flexibility. Advanced communication capabilities allow for multiple private mobile radio, Wi-Fi and cellular network communications simultaneously, connecting today’s systems and allowing for future growth and innovation.

The companion Vehicle Console features a single-view 10.4-inch touchscreen that supports multiple windows, providing route and performance information, as well as security and backup cameras, turn-by-turn maps and farebox information.

Dispatchers, supervisors and maintenance workers have instant access to this data to evaluate key performance indicators, ensure equipment is operating as intended and buses are meeting published service schedules.

The latest innovation in public transit technologies that includes CAD/AVL, fare collection and urban mobility solutions, the Xerox Transit Matrix Solution provides agencies with the flexibility and interconnectivity needed to effectively manage your fleet in challenging environments and situations. With powerful analytical and reporting capabilities, this tool provides the ability to make timely and informed decisions more efficiently.
