OTTAWA, Ontario — Julian Doucet’s voice calls the stops on OC Transpo buses, the O-Train Trillium Line and, starting in 2018, the brand-new Confederation Line from Tunney’s Pasture to Blair Road, the Ottawa Citizen reported.

As an actor, Doucet has done everything from performing in Shakespeare plays to a role in a Budweiser commercial, but to the Ottawa native’s biggest audience, he is literally invisible, the report said.

In this Q&A, Doucet talks about how he was chosen for the job, the process of recording announcements and what he thinks about hearing his own voice on the train.
