COLORADO SPRINGS — City officials are set to introduce an ordinance to the city council that would ban the use of e-cigarettes on all city buses and bus-boarding areas, as well as ban regular cigarette use inside of the area’s downtown terminal, KOAA reports.

While the e-cigarette industry has strongly come out against the regulation, City of Colorado Springs officials say they have had a number of complaints about cigarette smoking, particularly in the downtown terminal where the lack of ventilation causes both irritation and potential public health issues for passengers.
