BOSTON — The Boston Globe reports that the MBTA is bring its former GM Daniel A. Grabauskas, who was forced out of the agency in 2009, back as an independent contractor to serve as executive director of commuter rail, which is run for the agency by Keolis Commuter Services.
Grabauskas, who will reportedly be paid $30,000 a month for one year, will be “responsible overall for the management and supervision of the MBTA’s commuter rail system.”
Most recently, Grabauskas resigned as head of the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation in August 2016. For the full story, click here.
