The Mid-size Bus Manufacturers Association (MSBMA), which formed in 1993 to improve professionalism, safety and product quality in the mid-size bus industry, appointed Kim Yoder, national sales manager for ARBOC Specialty Vehicles LLC, as the association’s 2018 treasurer.

With 18 years of experience in the bus business, Yoder is familiar with the needs of the industry and carries widespread knowledge to her new position. Previous to her four years with ARBOC, Yoder was employed by StarTrans Bus for twelve years and Green Alternative Systems for two years.

Mid-size buses are defined as passenger-carrying motor coaches, built on cutaway or rail chassis or on monocoque construction, under 40’ in length and having a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of Class 7 or less.

ARBOC Specialty Vehicles LLC joined the MSBMA in 2010. Located in Middlebury, Ind., ARBOC is a leading manufacturer of low-floor cutaways across the U.S. and Canada.

“We are proud to have team members active in the transit community aside from their employment at ARBOC” stated Don Roberts, president/CEO. “Kim is a very knowledgeable individual and we are honored to have her represent us.”

Founded in 2008, ARBOC Specialty Vehicles LLC is a pioneer in low-floor technology and the industry leader in the development and manufacture of low-floor technology up to 34 feet.
