Under Utah law, if someone is carrying a gun or another weapon illegally on public streets, it's a misdemeanor in most cases. But on a bus or train, it's a felony. The lawmaker is considering expanding the right to carry a weapon on a bus or train without permission, saying it should be no different than carrying a gun or knife on the street

Two federal grants totaling $38 million are paying for the buses, 31 of which will have arrived by the end of February, with an additional 49 expected to arrive beginning in April, according to the city. New York bus crash injures 21

Police say that shortly before 4 p.m. the driver of a Nissan Altima was backing out of a parking lot near an intersection when it was struck by the driver of a BMW sedan heading southbound on Utica. The sedan was thrust into the path of a northbound MTA bus and struck the driver's side.
