Boston celebrates big year in transportation

BOSTON — The City News reviewed Boston’s big transportation year, which included the introduction of several rideshare programs, such as Uber, as well as the car share-taxi hybrid Flywheel and Bridj — an Uber-like commuter bus service.

Other transportation-related innovations debuting this year included parking reserve apps, such as SpotHero and SPOT, and payment platforms that enable people to pay for parking tickets and meters. For the full story, click here.
