First Vehicle Services announces that it has been awarded the fleet management, maintenance, and repair contract for all municipal vehicles in the City of Arlington, Texas.

The contract is for fleet management, maintenance, and repair for the City of Arlington’s entire fleet of more than 850 vehicles, including city pool cars, police, and fire and emergency rescue units.

“We are proud to bring our fleet management and maintenance experience to the City of Arlington,” said Dale Domish, sr. VP at First Vehicle Services. “Reliable, efficient, and well-maintained equipment is the foundation for a community to prosper.”

First Vehicle Services will provide 26 management, technicians, and support personnel for the agreement.

First Transit, parent company of First Vehicle Services, announced in August of this year a pilot program with the Arlington Convention and Visitors Bureau to provide autonomous vehicle passenger shuttles for fans visiting Globe Life Park and AT&T Stadium, home to the Dallas Cowboys.
