The Forth Worth Transportation Authority (The T) partnered with the City of Arlington, Texas, to begin commuter bus service between two Arlington park and ride lots and The T’s downtown Fort Worth Intermodal Transportation Center, as part of a one-year pilot program.

“This partnership between The T and the City of Arlington should help reduce peak Fort Worth traffic congestion as well as demonstrate to Arlington residents the benefits of mass transit,” said Dick Ruddell, president of The T.

NABI especially designed two new vehicles for The T that will be used for the new service. The new buses were designed to simulate the comfort and amenities of an over-the-road motorcoach within a transit style and city-size bus, so that it could be powered by CNG.
