SAN FRANCISCO — Just weeks ahead of California’s legalization of recreational sales beginning Jan. 1, the Golden Gate Bridge’s governing authority banned cannabis ads on transportation property, the San Francisco Examiner reports.
The ban applies to the agency’s ferries, transbay buses traversing the bridge, ferry terminals, and transit kiosks. The agency’s decision follows the lead of the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, which also banned cannabis ads on its vehicles and properties last month. For the full story, click here.
