VANCOUVER, Canada — A social media campaign has led to actor Seth Rogen being the new voice for TransLink BC, CBS News reports.

The campaign to get Rogen involved began in May, days before plans to have Morgan Freeman become the voice of the system were scrapped, when a reporter tweeted that Rogen, a Vancouver native, was better suited to the role. TransLink BC and Rogen began tweeting one another leading to the deal ultimately becoming official.

In a promotional video by TransLink BC, Rogen said "any opportunity to enrich the lives of the Canadian people is an opportunity I will take." For the full story, click here.
