Complete Coach Works (CCW) was awarded a $275,000 contract to provide a refurbished 40-foot Gillig transit bus for Eugene, Oregon’s Lane Transit District.

"Operating a refurbish bus reflects the district's commitment to sustainability and to responsibly steward the tax dollars it receives from the community," said Aurora Jackson, Lane Transit's GM. "We look forward to a CCW refurbished 40-foot Gillig safely and comfortably transporting riders commuting aboard the LTD sponsored Diamond Express to and from Oakridge, as well as the rest of the metro area."

The bus will be equipped with a Cummins ISL Recon engine and rebuilt Allison B400R transmission. CCW is performing a multitude of specialized services to the bus, such as an upgrade to the bus cooling system, with the installation of a new all-electric cooling package. Other services CCW is providing includes replacing of suspension components, replacing of all wear items, installing new floors, rebuilding windows, and updating all original lighting to a modern LED system.
