TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Tallahassee is on track to becoming one of the first cities in the U.S. to operate all-electric buses in its fleet per a $5.2 million grant from the Federal Transit Adminstration. The city is one of 27 grant recipients, and is slated to replace four diesel buses with zero-emission electric buses within the next year, reported The Florida Independent.
